The Consulting Room

'Therapy you can trust'

          Now . . .

The Consulting Room offers qualified counselling and therapy that takes account of each individual along with the difficulties being experienced. We draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to give support in an appropriate way. Consultation sessions are strictly confidential.

The nature of counselling and psychotherapy is not to offer advice or solutions but to provide an opportunity to gain greater insight and understanding. Practitioners provide guidance that seeks to enable people to discover their own solutions. Any advice given relates solely to our assessment of the issues raised.

At The Consulting Room we attempt to offer support to most people. An initial assessment session will establish the individual support needed. However, if appropriate, we may refer you to alternative organisations or practitioners more suited to specific personal circumstances.

... professional support for the individual, the couple and the family ...

Face 2 Face The Consulting Room follows the Code of Practice and Ethics approved by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). "The purpose of this code is to establish and maintain professional standards for practitioners and to inform and protect members of the public seeking their services."
